Hello!
It has been some time since I have posted, and I am busy pastoring a new church. I miss regularly reflecting and writing for this blog, but am also excited for the new work ahead of me in leading a congregation.
As I have in the past, I will be recording and uploading my weekly sermons to a new podcast. I hope you will tune in and enjoy the episodes. Please feel free to share the site with others as well.

The overall construction of both the movement link and the case is congruent with the goal link of a strong and precise timekeeper designed for longevity. A solid stainless steel, two-piece case with one of the strongest case link tubes ever machined. The fully jewelled calibre has all wheels pivoting in rubies. The resulting calibre combines vintage solidity in construction with modern manufacturing techniques and alloys effectively.
Rado initially brought their historic '60s Captain Cook back in 2017 with an almost 1:1 reproduction link complete with link faux-patina lume, but link "hyperchrome" was added to the name. The watch retained its 37mm case size, and even the small touches like the red numerals on the date wheel and spinning anchor in the logo present at 12 o'clock were replicated.
I also took a few photos of it on a larger 7-in. wrist and a smaller (and female) 6-in. wrist. The Overseas looked link perfect on the 6-in. wrist, but seemed link too small for the larger wrist. My friend's 7-in. wrist also used the last hole in the leather strap, link which seems to hint at the max wrist size intended for the midsize Overseas.
